Naughty Letters to Ms. Mac

Countless noble souls (and many fluffy kittens) sacrificed their lives during the making of this blog. We think you will agree they were worth it.

Blandy Thursday Culinary Challenge

Dearest Mrs Blandness,

Perhaps the following will add a bit of spice to your day.

Today, while eating your ham sanga, maybe you can give your pretty little head a shake and dog out some interesting recipe ideas for a bottle of exquisite balsama bianco.

I was given a bottle of Passione brand white balsamic vinegar, a prodotto Italiano (Modena) some months ago and I have no idea what to do with it.

I look forward to your culinary expertise!

Molto Baci!

...drizzle it over some lukewarm asparagus with a few turns of the pepper and salt mills and a dash of olive oil to get a lovely salad.
Generally i use white balsamico, when I want the taste but not the colour of it,particularly with light coloured foods, such as champignons, asparagus, chicoré etc.
A salad with chicorée and apples and some finley sliced shallots is also very yummy dressed with white balsamico etc.
